About FOLAKEMI
I have a vast number of years of law firm in-house experience; I am a well-organized and efficient Legal officer. I possess over 10 years of teaching both adults and children, and I have been a substitute teacher with NorthStar Consulting, Georgia, since February 2025. I obtained an LL.B (Hons), a JD equivalent degree from the University of Jos, Jos, Nigeria, and I have a Master's degree (LL.M, (Hons), in International Law and Diplomacy from the Washington College of Law, American University, Washington, DC. I possess over twenty (20) years of law firm and/or in-house experience and about 10 years of experience as a Paralegal. I am a focused professional who can perform under high pressure, and I pay attention to details. I have excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills. I possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and I am capable of working effectively both independently and as a team member. I am also a fast learner. And, I am a person of high integrity. I can say that I have a track record of producing positive results. Having taught Sunday School for many years, and presently a substitute teacher. I am confident that I can fit perfectly into this position. I also possess good ethical and sound business judgment. HELPING STUDENTS OF DIFFERENT GRADES IN LEARNING SOCIAL STUDIES. UNDERSTANDING THE FUNCTIONS OF GOVERNMENT AND CURRENT AFFAIRS. Elementary resources would teach students about foundations with lessons on U.S. government, global holidays, and basic economics. Students will explore the three branches of government, practice map-reading. History topics cover the Constitution, the Underground Railroad, and influential civil rights leaders, developing sequencing, analysis, and critical thinking skills. Middle school materials cover more advanced concepts, including U.S. history from colonial times to the Civil War, world history, comparative economic systems, and civics.
