About Janette
Hey! My name is Janette. I am a Year 3 Law student at the University of Birmingham.
I'm from Singapore, so all my prior teaching experience is in Singapore. I believe that there is no "one-size fits all" when it comes to my students, and everyone deserves a personalised education.
I enjoy creating customised worksheets for my students as it allows me to cater to specific needs, and to be creative. Most of my students are individual clients, but I've taught Maths in a Tuition Centre, where my worksheets are used to this day!

I teach English for students up to Year 11, and Maths up to Year 9.
I recognise that every student is different, so it is important for me to have a preliminary lesson with my new students for me to gauge their strengths and weaknesses. Thereafter, I would begin on tailoring my lessons to them with customised worksheets and specified learning objectives.
I have been teaching English, and Maths tuition in Singapore for the past 6 years, with some of my customised worksheets still being used by tuition centres today.
My lessons run for 45 minutes, with a 10 minute quiz at the end, to ensure that the lesson objectives have been met.
