About Andrea
Hello, I'm Andrea, an experienced English teacher with a background in teaching corporate professionals, both beginners and advanced learners, as well as young learners in Madrid. I also have a year of experience as a Philosophy lecturer at the undergraduate level.
Over the past two years, I have lived in three different countries: New York after COVID, completed an internship in London, and spent my gap year in Madrid, where I obtained my TEFL certificate. Currently, I am a part-time English teacher while pursuing a full-time law degree in the UK.

My teaching style revolves around tailoring lessons to my students' proficiency levels, with a strong emphasis on grammar. If necessary, I dedicate time to reinforce grammar concepts before moving on to fluency. I make my lessons interactive, utilising my tablet as a whiteboard to enhance engagement. For my business English classes, I introduce stimulating discussion points that my students find exciting. Similarly, my young learners enjoy interactive elements like games and songs in our lessons.
As a curious student and researcher, I became passionate about teaching, and that passion only grew when I started teaching myself. I find great inspiration in witnessing my students' progress and seeing them take pride in their achievements. Even as I pursue my law degree, I am committed to fostering the same kind of development and growth in my students.
