About Emma
I am a first-year student at the University of Adelaide, studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) majoring in French.
I graduated in 2023 and achieved an A+ with merit in Legal Studies and an A for French (Continuers).
I am extremely passionate about law and languages and believe that my curiosity and enthusiasm have been integral to my positive outlook on learning.
I recognise the importance of student support and believe my patience and enjoyment of helping others makes the process a lot more smoother, enabling students to feel confident in their studies.

I tutor:
French - Years 7-12 (Beginners and Continuers)
Legal Studies - Years 11-12
The first lesson provides understanding into the student's learning style and areas of improvement, to create a realistic framework to follow.
I ensure students have a strong understanding of the concepts and the ability to apply them. I think it is important to break down concepts into step-by-step explanations whether it is learning a new French tense or the functions of parliament. I incorporate engaging activities for revision and consolidation through written exercises and speaking practice.
My lessons are 1 hour but can be extended to 2 hours if needed.
