About Safi
I'm a Law student with a genuine interest in helping younger students find their footing in English — a subject that rewards clear out of the box thinking and being able to express yourself well, which are skills that matter far beyond school in life in general.
I started tutoring because I wanted to support myself through university in a way that actually felt beneficial to others. But what keeps me invested is the students themselves — seeing something click for a kid who was convinced they "just weren't good at English" is genuinely satisfying in a way that's hard to describe.
I prefer having discussions and back-and-forth engagements with students instead of talking at them for an hour, then figure out exactly where things are going wrong, and work from there. I never liked being made feel silly for not knowing something so I make sure my students do not feel that, and I take their progress personally.

I'm a first-year Law student with a background in English Language, Literature and Creative Writing. I tutor GCSE students online in one-hour sessions, tailoring every lesson to how that specific student actually learns.
Before teaching anything, I take time to understand how my student thinks, where they're struggling, and what makes things click for them. From there I build lessons that are structured and engaging — the goal is to make the work feel less like a tedious chore and more an enjoyable activity. Writing skills, analysis, comprehension, spelling and creative expression are all areas I cover.
