About Alfie
I am a Law student at University. I have been tutoring Maths and Physics on the side for the last three years. I have taught 7 students, all who drastically improved from the grades predicted by their schools, achieving grades from 7-9.

I like students to use their own logic to work out answers to questions, I will of course explain where they get stuck and push them in the right direction, however I believe it is important for confidence and long-term retention for students to feel that they have agency over their teaching. When I teach a topic I will gradually increase the difficulty and have a large bank of exam style questions for students to work through. I believe that I am relatable and can help instill a genuine work ethic in students.
