About Jemima
I am currently studying Law at degree level. As a child, I have always been fascinated by literature, which lead me to the degree I student now, as it is fascinating learning the legislations that govern our everyday lives. I have experience in tutoring English, as while studying my A-Levels, I tutored GCSE students, focusing on helping them with exam preparation and grammar. I feel passionate about helping others with this beautiful subject and would take delight in aiding others in this subject.

Each topic would be approached differently. However, I would first ask the students optimal way of learning and adapt around this, with sprinkles of my teaching methodology. English As a subject emphasises time while doing tasks, as in exams it can be very pressing for time, so time discipline is extremely important. Furthermore, it’s would take the individuals needs into account rather than take assumption of what level the individual is at. This will be achieved by using questioning, demonstrations and lots of active learning.
