About Dhaneesha
I am a 3rd year law student and passionate about tutoring because having been tutored myself, I understand the impact it has and how it can push you to achieve the best grades. It offers extra support which can be a major difference in attaining a higher grade.
I understand that not all students learn the same way and English is a subject that can be more flexible and allows students more creativity. My aim is to support students and tailor their skills to align with mark schemes so they have the knowledge and can present it in a way which meets the expectations of the examiner.
I am very open to learning more about different students and how they best learn content, as well as trying different techniques in order for them to retain it. I want to be able to assist others and help them strive to achieve the best grades they can!

With English language my lessons are aimed at GCSE students however I can tutor English literature to GCSE and A level students due to my own experience and having grades to reflect my achievements.
I will prepare PowerPoint presentations which will focus on the specification and mark schemes in order for students to meet the examiners expectations. I will include activities that cover techniques and content but adapt my teaching style in order to suit the way in which the student best understands.
My lessons are an hour but I am flexible for what works best for students whether this be longer or shorter.
I have taught year 5 and year 9 classes before, working with the QMUL LAC which was related to my law degree. This taught me how to adapt information so my target audience gains a good understanding of the topic and different teaching styles to do this.
