About Riya

I have recently graduated high school and will begin studying law at university in 2020. I have been tutoring at Kumon for over three years and having been an English and Mathematics private tutor for two years as well...

About the lesson

With over five years of teaching experience, I’ve had an ample amount of time to understand students, the way they think and what they need to become the best version of themselves. Owing to this, my teaching methods differ greatly from traditional schools, there are no wrong answers, no red pens, instead I believe in moulding students in the right direction... In doing so I follow the same curriculum as schools but my different approach has helped several of my students improve their grades in the past.. While I may not be strict I do believe homework and hardworking is important, but unlike others I will work hard with you...
