About Deepshikha
Hello! I am Deepshikha Katariya, an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a strong academic background in Political Science (MA, IGNOU) and currently pursuing LLB (Hons). I am deeply passionate about guiding students in history, political science, geography, and ethics, and I focus on developing both knowledge and critical thinking skills. I believe in encouraging curiosity, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing confidence, so that students are not only exam-ready but also equipped to approach problems with a holistic perspective. My classes include Socratic questioning, case studies, debates, and problem-solving exercises, all designed to make learning engaging, insightful, and meaningful.

Socratic Questioning I encourage students to question assumptions, analyze concepts, and explore multiple perspectives. Case-Based Learning I use real-life examples, case studies, and current events to make abstract concepts concrete. This allows students to apply theory to practice, evaluate outcomes, and develop problem-solving skills. Debates and Structured Discussions I organize debates on controversial topics, encouraging students to construct arguments, defend positions, and critically evaluate opposing views. Active Learning and Problem-Solving Exercises Students engage in group activities or simulations where they must identify problems, propose solutions, and assess consequences. This approach promotes analytical thinking and decision-making skills. Encouraging Reflection and Self-Assessment I integrate reflective exercises where students evaluate their reasoning and conclusions. Journals, short essays, or class reflections allow them to identify biases, assumptions, and gaps in knowledge. Interdisciplinary Approach I connect topics across subjects (e.g., political science, ethics, and law) to encourage holistic thinking. This helps students synthesize information from multiple sources rather than memorizing isolated facts. Question-Driven Assignments I provide constructive feedback, highlighting logical strengths and areas for improvement.
