About Molly
I have two Bachelor's degrees: one in political science and one in psychology. I taught United States Government and History for 3 years before going to law school. I graduated law school in May 2019, and I am preparing for the bar exam! I am still certified to teach, and I hold two valid/ current educator certificates. One certifies me to teach 4th-8th grade math, science, language arts, and social studies (a generalist certification). The other certifies me to teach 7th-12th grade social studies (specialist certification). I also completed 80 hours of continuing education courses while I was a teacher, providing additional coursework in lesson design, learning/ teaching styles, education technology, and reading comprehension.

I do not have a set methodology because teaching is not one-size-fits-all. I begin by finding which approaches work best for each student. For example, some visual learners respond best to flashcards while other visual learners need to write or draw. Auditory learners may need lecture-type teaching while other auditory learners prefer video or acting-out concepts. Some students need a combination of techniques. I have a variety of methods that I can pick between or combine.
