About Matthew
I aspire to be a criminal barrister and have chosen several modules to help me achieve this goal. In my experience, aspiring solicitors know the facts and the ratio (decision) of a case, while aspiring barristers know the reasoning as well as these things. I have obtained mini-pupillages at top criminal sets and have marshalled a High Court judge sitting in the Court of Appeal.

Otherwise time is flexible _________________________________________________________________ LNAT Preparation for Law School Applicants (Personal Score of 36/42) Two Parts: Multiple Choice (95 mins) and Essay (40 mins) Options: - Work through multiple-choice questions together, orally justifying why each wrong option is incorrect and why the right option is correct (not just through the process of elimination) - Develop skeleton essay plans together - Review written essays and provide feedback _________________________________________________________________ Law GCSE/A-Level - Review written essays/problem questions and provide feedback - Tutoring on specific topics (e.g. murder in criminal law), working with the student to form notes in the way that best suits them as well as working on committing the case law and relevant sections of statutes to memory as we discuss them. University/GDL - Review written essays/problem questions and provide feedback - Tutoring available for the complete seven compulsory core modules (of which I have achieved first-class marks in each): Criminal law Tort law Contract law Land law Trusts law EU law Public (Constitutional Law) - Also able to tutor in the following modules: Company Law Criminal Processes - Evidence, Sentencing and Advanced Topics in Substantive Criminal Law Human Rights in the UK Philosophy of the Criminal Law Social Welfare Law Employment Law Family Law Internet Law and Policy _________________________________________________________________
