About Machiko
I am in my final year of Law School at Bond University. I am fluent in English, and Sinhalese. I speak rudimentary Spanish as well. I did an undergrad double degree in Psychology and History before I got into law school. I am from Sri Lanka, and in high school I took Advanced Math, along with History, Psychology and Law. If I hadn't decided to go to law school, I almost definitely would have done something in Biochemistry or Medicine related as I quite loved Math and the Sciences in school.

I believe in an approach that best suits my student. I don't often learn in the most orthodox of manners, and I think it's important to teach a student in the manner that they believe will best benefit them. From learning spatially (visually), to learning kinesthetically (physically); I believe that students often know how best to learn and as a tutor/teachers should try to assist them in whichever manner would be most beneficial.
Depending on the topic studied, I often find 3 ways to teach each student; that way the student has the chance to first learn the content, then convert it to a form that they can understand best and finally, they can ask me any additional questions in order to fully grasp the material.
