About Lilian
After completing my degree earlier this year, I have greatly missed being in education. I have a passion for learning and teaching to keep my skills active and stay engaged with this knowledge. I am friendly, patient and supportive and am always happy to help. I would love to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and understanding new concepts and topics. I am skilled at organisation and can help structure and support revision plans as well as each individual session.

Teaching Methodology: I will help to build up a strong foundational understanding, followed by step by step examples and explanations. I will focus on example and exam-style questions, with extra focus on practice papers. I find that this helps in preparation for exams most effectively, however I can tailor each lesson to preferred learning styles and wants/needs of each student. Lesson Length: Sessions are usually 1 hour but can adapt to preferences/ demand during exam periods. Qualifications and Experience: I am a Law graduate with a strong background in mathematics, having completed A Level Maths. I also achieved a strong grade 8 at GCSE and have a good knowledge and understanding of difficult GCSE topics. Who the lessons are for: Students studying GCSE maths, suitable for all abilities whether that be foundation or higher. Can also tutor for other abilities pre-GCSE.
