About Annie
I am an honours graduate from the University of York Law School in the United Kingdom, where I earned a 68% overall. My 10,000-word dissertation received particular recognition for its analytical clarity and persuasiveness. I also hold an A* in Advanced Level English Literature, where I studied two poetry anthologies, conducted comparative analyses of modern and classic novels, examined plays, and explored Shakespeare's works.
Additionally, I have experience running a poetry club, where I led group analyses and discussions on contemporary and classic poems in an unseen format, while supporting new members in developing their understanding and analytical skills. During my time at university, I also mentored a group of students from lower years, providing both pastoral and academic guidance.
I recently moved to Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa and am excited to continue offering tutoring and mentoring services.

I offer virtual tutoring on weekends and weekday evenings for 1-2 hours and 1-2 students at a time.
I focus around helping students methodologically and working with them so they understand their weaknesses and can work collaboratively to bridge their knowledge gaps. I believe the best learning comes from students truly understanding each step of their learning.
I have experience tutoring two students towards their end of high school equivalent exams, specifically helping them understanding the process of language analysis and the steps towards explaining this clearly in an essay. I am best suited to tutor students of a similar age (11-18.)
