About Darren
I previously worked in law but now work across finance, law and policy as a sustainability professional. I have worked on technical reports, written published articles and taken cases the UK High Court.
I enjoy variety in my life, and teaching is one way I enjoy engaging and helping people. I have taught international students, A-level and GCSE in the past, and often done so voluntarily. My profession has given me lots more experience to make difficult topics accessible and engaging to people of different ages and experience.

Our first (free) meeting will be to gauge how best you learn (visually, text or activity based). I will be led by your learning needs and what outcomes you want from being tutored.
In a lesson, we will set learning outcomes. Each lesson will be engaging (led by how best you learn) involve conversation and me asking you lots of questions.
By the end of the lesson, we will assess whether your learning outcomes were met and how the next lesson might be better.
I am open to tutoring all ages and experiences.
I taught A-level English, Psychology and History to various students in 2017/8. I have also taught English to a cohort of Mongolian university students.
