About Fiona
I am an enthusiastic person with a passion for language, particularly French! I spent most of my life in Brussels in a french speaking school and that is where I acquired my skills.
I believe that my passion to teach coupled with empathy and the understanding that each student has a unique learning curve distinguish me as a teacher.
I will be available for any questions you might have and will make sure to follow you in your journey as you become confident in your spoken and written French!

Hi everyone!
My teaching method is pretty straightforward:
Teaching will be one-to-one. Before starting the first lesson, I will asses my student's level with care.
A typical lesson plan will look like this:
1. Start with the basics in order to have a strong foundation (i.e. learn new grammar rules and vocabulary and make good use of them in the next lesson).
2. Incorporate those in interactive/dynamic activities to make the learning process fun (i.e. role play, songs, TV and films)
3. At the end of the week, there will be a test to determine your strengths and points to work on.
Ideally, my students would be in kindergarten and middle school. However, I would love to adapt my material to older students!
