About Rebecca

I am a Scottish LLB(honours) graduate of 2020. I am studying my diploma in professional legal practice (DPLP). I have been employed by the same company as a bar supervisor for the last 4 years showing I am reliable and dependable. I voluntarily tutor foreign students in my free time. This most commonly comprises of explaining word definitions, how to better improve sentence structures and helping their essays flow more succinctly. I have also passed all the tests and requierments to teach in private schools in South Korea starting in 2021.

About the lesson

My teaching method is calm and confident and I make sure that once i have finished explaining to a student how to improve a sentence that they have showed me I will ask them to construct another, similar sentance to make sure that the student has understood my explanation. I send notes of each lesson when required to the student and as I offer blocks of 5 lessons, at the end of the block, the fifth lesson is a test based on the previous lessons so I can effectively track the students progress. I believe in having a good relationship with the student and always provide them the option to discuss anything they’re worried about in lessons or other areas of their life as I understand firsthand how tense exams and learning can be for students
