About Alexander

I am a Law graduate from the University of Surrey, where I achieved a 2:1, and I am now studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) at BPP Law School. My legal experience includes shadowing a Family Judge at Leicester Crown Court and completing work experience at The Wilkes Partnership, where I developed skills in legal research, drafting, and client interaction. Alongside my studies, I have worked as a tutor and mentor, supporting both neurodiverse and dyslexic students through structured, step-by-step teaching. I am passionate about helping undergraduate law students improve essay writing, case analysis, and exam technique.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, focusing on clear essay structures, strong case law application, and exam technique. I have experience supporting students with dyslexia and adapt my teaching by using structured guidance, visual aids, and step-by-step methods to make legal concepts accessible and manageable. Lesson Structure A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, though I can adapt depending on the topic and the student’s goals. Sessions usually begin with clarifying key concepts, followed by worked examples, and ending with feedback and next steps. Qualifications & Experience I graduated from the University of Surrey with an LLB (2:1) and am currently completing the SQE at BPP Law School. My legal experience includes shadowing a Family Judge at Leicester Crown Court and completing work experience at The Wilkes Partnership, where I developed strong legal research and drafting skills. I also have previous teaching experience as a percussion tutor, supporting students of different learning styles, including neurodiverse learners. Who My Lessons Are For I teach undergraduate law students (first–final year), as well as prospective law students preparing for university. I can also provide guidance on building commercial awareness and exam preparation strategies
