About Melis
I'm a law graduate from the University of Bristol with hands-on experience working with international organisations like the United Nations. I’ve also completed the Barrister Training Course (LLM) with distinction. My goal is to make tough concepts easier to understand while helping you build confidence and critical thinking skills. Whether you need help with English, French, law, writing, research, or university applications, I’m here to support and guide you to success!

My approach to teaching is one that is student-centred. I believe in tailoring lessons to each student’s unique needs, learning styles, and goals. I emphasise active learning through discussions, problem-solving, and practical examples to encourage critical thinking.
Encouragement is a key aspect of my approach. I aim to create a positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their abilities. I also integrate continuous feedback and reflection, helping students track their progress and build self-awareness in their learning journey.
A typical lesson is one hour, but subject to any particular wishes.
My lessons are for primary and GCSE students, as well as sixth-form students who are preparing to apply to universities.
