About Tom
While I was in secondary school, I found that the more I enjoyed speaking and learning German, the faster and more naturally it came to me. I received a H1 in German on my Leaving Cert and proceeded to study Law with a language at TU Dublin. As part of my studies, I participated in Erasmus+ in Germany, where I spent a year speaking the language every day and studying Law through German. I'm currently in my final year in University.

My students want to improve their German language skills and their results from German in the Leaving Cert.
To help them achieve this, I place great emphasis on speaking German as much as possible and building confidence when it comes to tackling the grammar, listening and vocabulary.
I share with my students the useful techniques and tricks which helped me get over the hump that comes with learning German.
We'll speak German as much as possible during the lessons, which is necessary for mastering the language.
We'll also work through past exam papers, with a focus on maximising marks.
My lessons are suitable for everyone, at a beginner, intermediate or advanced level.
