I use active learning methods instead of passive. Traditional learning methods such as reading a textbook or taking notes are not very effective. Having open discussion about a topic, analyzing topics, “teaching”, and quick recall are much more effective. Active learning prioritizes actual learning over memorization, which leads to more success in testing.
