About Laura

Hi! I’m Laura, a dedicated MPsych Psychology with Clinical Psychology student at the University of Plymouth, entering my 3rd year this September.

I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential. Throughout Sixth Form and beyond, I’ve loved tutoring and mentoring students, making learning engaging, clear, and tailored to each individual.

I achieved top grades (8s and 9s) in all my GCSEs, especially in the sciences, and went on to study Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at A-Level.

This means I have a strong grasp of what it takes to excel academically and how to guide students to achieve their best results.

I’ve also volunteered as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children with Maths at my local Junior School during my free periods. I know how to break down tricky concepts, boost confidence, and make lessons enjoyable.

About the lesson

During my time at high school and Sixth I have always approached revision and learning through, past papers, memorisation and active recall. I still do use these techniques to this day at university for Psychology and as suspected they never fail to impress me since I'm receiving first-class all around!
With these techniques that I teach you, for the subjects you're struggling to grasp an understanding of, I can assure you that a top grade will be achieved!

Online lessons: £15/hour
In-person lessons (Plymouth, PL1 area): £20/hour

I am happy to offer flexible scheduling and tailored lessons to help each student achieve their best!

Please do note that In-person lessons are £20/hour to account for travel and the extra one-on-one support I can provide students in person.
