My name is Laura. I have a Law Degree (LLB(Hons), a Diploma in Legal Practice (DipLP), a Masters in Advocacy (LLM) and a BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection Law. I am 11 post qualified and work as a Legal Consultant, predominantly in the Financial Services and Tech sectors, having previously worked as a Dispute Resolution Solicitor at two law firms in Scotland and at several banks.

I am a Scots law graduate offering private tuition to law students at undergraduate and school level. Having worked as a Solicitor in Scotland for more than 11 years in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution I can provide tailored support across a range of core legal subjects, helping to strengthen your understanding of complex legal concepts, develop effective study techniques, and approach assessments with greater confidence.
My lessons are adapted to your individual needs and can include explaining difficult areas of law, working through problem questions and essay questions, improving legal research and writing skills, and providing guidance on exam preparation and revision.
