About Benjamin
I’ve got a bachelor's degree in Classical Languages, meaning I studied Latin and Ancient Greek as well as classical history, literature, and culture. I’ve got a master's degree in Teaching Social Studies, meaning I’ve studied the skills necessary to help students achieve success in social studies, as well as a variety of techniques to teach these skills. As my background is in the Latin language and teaching reading skills is a fundamental part of teaching social studies, I can also help you develop to be a strong reader and writer.

I offer classes in: Reading Skills Test Prep English Latin Spanish History - Ancient World, US, Modern World Government - US, Comparative Geography Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology First session will include goal setting so that the following lessons are tailored to your needs. Each session will consist of a 5 minute check-in, a 10 minute practice drill, a 15 minute note-taking portion, 20-25 minutes of guided practice, and 5-10 minutes of intention setting for next session. Intention setting includes a preview of what's in next session and a catch up with your goals to ensure we're still on the path to success. *Time for short breaks is included in every session.
