About Hudson
Technical precision is not the same thing as feeling the groove. You might think reading tabs is enough but true musicianship requires ear training and rhythm control. I perform a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan.
This allows absolute beginners and working professionals to focus on the right scales and modes. We will cover improvisation and soloing to keep you engaged. Practice is easier when you have a clear path forward.

Guitar playing is a dialogue between the hand and the heart. I draw on 19 years of performing flamenco to guide your acoustic technique. Having taught 456 students, I know how to build a structure that actually lasts.
You will find my approach both kind and articulate during our time together. I want to help you reach that point where the music feels like a natural extension of your own thoughts.
