About Josie
Settling into the bench to play a scale feels like home after 13 years of gigging. I teach because I want to share the joy of Latin-alternative rhythms.
Working with 232 students has taught me the value of patience. I help kids, teens, and working professionals navigate music theory and pedaling technique.
My experience covers everything from ABRSM exam prep to contemporary pop styles. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence with their sight playing. It is a quiet, steady process.

Pianos are the heartbeat of my studio. Music flows best when the environment is relaxed. I provide a progress tracker shared with parents every month to keep everyone updated on your growth. My background as a multi-instrumentalist influences how I teach accompaniment skills.
You will find that I am quite patient. I bring a modern edge to traditional technique. Let us start playing.
