About Emily
Connecting people to language happens by exploring culture. I teach because I love sharing the Latin diaspora experience. My 16 years of experience includes performing across the Australian Latin music scene. I have worked with 110 students from many backgrounds. We discuss everything from everyday phrases to complex idioms. I hold a Diploma of Music which helps me teach accent and intonation. Teaching often feels like a conversation that never truly ends.

Hearing your voice gain the rhythmic cadence of a native speaker remains my main goal. I provide a diagnostic level test before we build the plan so we start correctly. My lessons incorporate Latin American versus Castilian variants to give you a broad understanding of the language. We utilize role play and dialogue practice to make grammar and verb conjugation feel functional rather than academic. I rely on my 16 years of experience to explain cultural context and vocabulary building. My Diploma of Music from JMC Academy allows me to focus on the melody of your speech. I prefer to guide you toward natural fluency through simple consistent practice.
