About Mariana
I am a student of Languages and a qualified journalist. I lived in the UK and I have full immersion in British culture. I can also make a personalised lesson plan for people whose goal is to live in England, for example, or to study specific topics there. I am freelance spell-checker and work with this at a marketing agency. Therefore, I am fully capable of teaching Portuguese as well.

I approach the subject in a free way, looking for references from the day to day and the culture in general to contextualize the content. It is usually what makes teaching more personalized, and that is what British English needs to be understood in its fullness. The teaching of Portuguese should be slightly more plastered, unless it is done for immigrants or ESL (grammar, unfortunately, is not so democratic). French classes follow the style of English, with the difference that they only teach basic French classes, or with a focus on travel.
