About Elise
I am a French and History graduate from King's College London with a strong academic background in French language and culture. Having achieved excellent results at GCSE, A-level and undergraduate levels, I understand the demands of the curriculum as well as the skills required to succeed in language learning.
After spending a year in France on a year abroad and working as an au pair with a French family, I gained the ability to teach young people basic language skills in a fun yet effective way.

As a recent graduate with a degree in French and History, I have successfully completed an array of French exams, achieving A's at both GCSE and A-level, and a 2:1 at undergraduate level. I therefore have a profound knowledge of the British education system, and will be able to successfully support a student with vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, comprehension and translation skills to ace their exams.
Furthermore, I have sufficient experience in teaching young children basic language skills through fun games and light conversation. During my time as an au pair in France and as an English tutor for a French family, I succeeded in improving young people's vocabulary and knowledge through games and online resources.
In sum, whether you are looking for a tutor to help coach a young person through their French exams, or if you are looking for you or your child to improve language skills for fun, my experience will allow me to tailor lessons to your needs to achieve your desired outcomes.
