About Gareth
Roughly 7500 hours of electronic music production experience, namely in writing Drum & Bass music.
My passion is learning how different sounds are made, and I'd love to share and pass along knowledge.
What I can teach:
- How to make 'specific' sounds often heard in Drum & Bass
- Creating breakbeat patterns from scratch, can be used for hip hop, drum & bass, lofi, jungle etc.
- Information about what goes on behind the scenes in digital music (harmonic series, missing fundamental etc)

Practical teaching with fast results, along with explanations of what's happening in the background.
I've never taught before, but keen to give it a go. I've attached one YouTube video where I've turned bird chirps into what's known as a Reese bass.
