About Rach
I teach because I understand how difficult it can be to do well in school when you don’t know how to learn. I used to struggle with low confidence in my own academic abilities and am incredibly grateful for the people who helped me discover what worked for me. A simple change in mindset transformed both my confidence and my results.

With 4 years of tutoring experience and a strong academic background, I specialise in helping students excel in Biology and Chemistry. I achieved grade 9s in almost all of my GCSEs and have consistently used effective learning strategies to succeed academically. One key technique that helped me, and now benefits my students, is making meaningful associations with subject content. This approach allows for deeper understanding and long-term retention, avoiding the need for rote memorisation. I currently study at King’s College London, where I’ve achieved First-Class results in both years of my degree.
