About Shanay
I am a woman who left school thinking it was the worst thing on earth. Until I tutored a boy who couldn't bring himself to focus on his studies. Together we found a way to make studying fun for him by identifying his likes and dislikes. Seeing the change in him after that is what motivates me to help others.

My teaching method is to understand that regardless of age, every child is a person with likes, dislikes, stress management techniques unique to them and varying thought processes. I like to identify those qualities and use them to teach the child to handle stress or various situations using their thought processes as their strength instead of a weakness. No child can be conformed, only shaped into a better version of themselves.
