About Jane
My academic background is composed by a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and another degree in Chemistry, which enabled me to teach chemistry. My academics master’s and Ph.D. are in Chemistry applied to Engineering.
I am a very passionate professor. For this reason, I dedicate myself widely to my students whether teaching or supervising and naturally, I have very engaged and motivated students, even for a long- life learning. I work hard to teach classes that are centred on students, bringing exercises and case studies, Problem Based Learning methodologies to facilitate the engagement and consequent learning process.

I have long experience in the academic field. I have been working for more than 20 years, teaching and supervising graduate and undergraduate students. I believe it is important to highlight that I have already taught several disciplines. However, I have a vast experience, 18 years, particularly lecturing General Chemistry, Organic chemistry, and Materials Science in theoretical and laboratory format.
