About Chandran
Having retired after 32 years of teaching has provided me with a wealth of experience in helping students achieve their fullest. In those years of teaching also I was blessed to have faced a myriad of students with different abilities in learning. All this exposure has helped me provide what exactly my students need. My involvement as an examiner for both the SPM and MUET has also given me abundant knowledge in preparing students to face their English papers confidently. I have also been exposing myself to the IGCSE, First Language English paper 1 and 2 (0500) and find that it is an interesting paper for me to teach and at the same time take on the much needed challenge at this point of my retired life.

I usually conduct my classes for 2 hours but if my teaching objectives for that particular lesson are achieved then the class ends 30 minutes earlier. During lessons, I am comfortable adopting the part to whole method of teaching as I find that students progress accordingly and follow the lessons without difficulty. Through this method also students' problems in the language can be identified and rectified. Having been in the teaching profession for 32 years, has given me the adequate techniques in helping pre-university students face their MUET and IGCSE students face their First Language English (0500) papers confidently.
