About Alissa
I tutored almost all throughout high school, having taught mostly grade 6-secondary 3 material. I have always loved helping with science, specifically biology! I like to maintain mutual respect to develop a certain level of connection with my tutees because I find it helps create a motivating and safe environment for both parties. I am often described as having a positive energy and tutoring sessions would not be an exception to this :)

I am very patient and have no problem with re-explaining concepts many times. I have a learning disability which made it hard for me to grasp concepts right away. After understanding how I effectively learn, I will strive to find the best way for my tutees to learn because I know how personalized that can be.
