About Okelo
My name is Okelo. After completing my first year studying Chemistry at UCL, I realised how rewarding it can be to help others develop their own understanding of the subject. I want to tutor because I know chemistry can be challenging but by breaking down difficult concepts together I believe it can become more manageable. This can enable students to strengthen their problem solving skills and achieve their academic goals.

My approach to tutoring is problem based and student centred. I would encourage students to bring topics or questions they find challenging and we work through them together using clear explanations and targeted practice problems. I am patient and approachable, and I aim to build students’ confidence to allow them to achieve their full potential.
