About Emily
I am currently pursuing a BS in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics and Optimization, and I have several years of experience in teaching. Everyone has their share of struggles in math, and I would love to share my knowledge of little tips and tricks that I have picked up in my years of experience in math to help students reduce stress and even perhaps begin to enjoy math.

I am very familiar with all levels of math and love to help students understand the ins and outs of math. Math is an intricate subject where the difficulty is completely dependent on how the student's mind works, so not every math teacher is fit for every student. My goal is to decipher what teaching methods work best for students and use that method to help students more clearly understand math. Lessons would involve delving deeper into mathematical ideas, working through problems, and finding different ways to understand mathematical concepts. It is also very important to me to create a light-hearted environment where students are comfortable and can learn stress-free!
