About Bridget
About Me
My name is Bridget Hickey-Montoro. I am a native Spanish speaker, half Spanish, and Spanish is my first language. I hold a C1 qualification from the Instituto Cervantes and have nine years of formal Spanish study.
I am also a student myself, which means I understand the Junior and Senior Cycle system well and know what teachers and examiners expect. I focus on helping students learn how to answer questions clearly, structure their work properly, and build confidence in Spanish.
I work mainly with secondary school students and support them in improving grammar, comprehension, pronunciation, and spoken Spanish. My approach is calm, encouraging, and structured, helping students feel more confident and prepared without added pressure.
I aim to make Spanish clearer and more manageable while helping students progress steadily and with confidence.
