About Divya
I have 4 years of experience as a math tutor. 2 years were spent as a 5th grade math teacher and an SAT math tutor and 2 years were spent as a college Calculus I and Calculus II tutor. I care about keeping students interested in the topics they are learning.

I use a hands on approach with students. A typical lesson plan begins with highlighting the topics to be covered, looking at example problem and explaining the concepts behind it, working through a few problems together, having the student complete problems on their own, and then looking at their answer together to identify any mistakes. My lessons are for students ranging from a 5th grade math level to a high school level (Calculus I and II).
