About Saoirse
I’m a fully qualified secondary school French and Irish teacher, passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in their language learning. I graduated from Dublin City University with a B.Ed. in French and Irish (2.1), and I’ve taught across a wide range of classrooms. I’ve spent summers teaching in the Gaeltacht and have lived in France, giving me strong cultural and linguistic foundations in both languages. With 2 years of experience, I can help make language click for students.

I provide lessons online using Zoom. Lessons are one hour in duration. I offer lessons for junior cert students and will help you build on your weakest area. My lessons focus on the four main areas of language: spoken, written, reading and listening. I focus on the main vocabulary that appears in the exams and help you build written pieces of a high standard. Active learning is used to ensure lessons are engaging and interesting. Notes will be provided after each lesson.
