About Padraig
Hi! I’m a 17-year-old secondary school student currently in 5th year. I have an average grade of 97% in Higher Spanish, and I achieved a Higher Merit in the Junior Cert. Spanish has always been a big part of my life — my mom is a Spanish teacher, so I grew up speaking and hearing the language regularly, which gives me a strong, almost native-like understanding.
I enjoy helping others learn and understand Spanish in a way that’s clear, structured, and fun. I focus on building confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding the language, so students feel prepared and supported for exams and homework alike.

My Junior Cert Spanish lessons are designed to be clear, supportive, and exam-focused. I explain topics in a simple way that makes Spanish easier to understand and less stressful.
Lessons can include:
• Clear explanations of grammar (tenses, verbs, sentence structure)
• Vocabulary building and useful exam phrases
• Oral practice to improve confidence speaking Spanish
• Help with reading comprehensions and written questions
• Going through past Junior Cert exam questions
• Support with homework or areas the student finds difficult
I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and focus on what they need most. I aim to help students build confidence, improve understanding, and feel more prepared for exams.
Lessons are friendly, patient, and well-structured, and I’m happy to answer questions at any time during the session.
