About Amelia
- My teaching method involves helping your student understand their schoolwork, through various methods that have worked for me or my peers throughout my school career. - A typical lesson plan would be for me to talk to your student and understand where they need support, and then focus on strengthening their understanding, either by working through their assignments or creating my own lesson plan. - As a tutor, I believe that I can be set apart by my approaches to help students understand what they are learning by applying new techniques that work to their learning styles. - These lessons are for K-12 students, and I can help with ACT prep as well! College students in beginner level classes are welcome to reach out too!

Throughout high school and college, I assisted my peers with their essay writing and mathematics homework. At the request of my high school principal, I tutored students for the ACT, which led to the school's average score rising several points. Elementary students having trouble in math have gained an understanding from our meetings that their teachers were unable to instill in them.
