About Pilirani

My name is Pilirani Banda, I am 31 years old. I am a Malawian but currently living in South Africa. I have been living in South Africa for over 11 years.

I hold a National Diploma in Office Administration and Management, A certificate in Journalism and a TEFL Certificate.

I have been in your shoes and understand how difficult and scary learning a new language can be, that is why I am here to inspire you that you can become anything that your heart desires.

Growing up in a small town in Malawi where people only speak our native language (Tumbuka) I struggled the first year I moved to South Africa, I could not communicate with people clearly and I was always left disappointed. It is so frustrating when you want to say something or express yourself but you don't know how to say it. I don't want you to struggle like the
way I did so I will help you with each and every step so that you can speak English Fluently with confidence. I believe in you.

About the lesson

In my private tutoring sessions, I like to start by understanding my students needs, strengths and areas for improvement. I create personalized lesson plans to cater to their specific needs, and I use a variety of teaching methods to make the material engaging and easier to understand.
I am proficient in English, and I would like to teach students with zero to little knowledge of English, having said that Everyone is welcome in my classroom, anyone who wants to improve their grammar, articulation and pronunciation.
