About Simon
My name is Simon and I am a certified TEFL teacher from England. I have taught English online for a few years now and I have also worked as a football journalist here in the UK as well as for the Bundesliga - the German football league - internationally. I consider myself an expert on English grammar, punctuation, spelling and pronunciation. I love to travel and experience new cultures and countries and, having learnt Spanish to B2, level know how daunting learning a new language can be. However, I am a patient teacher, who likes to encourage my students and help them by taking the time to find lesson materials and topics that they will not only find useful, but interesting as well.

I am a TEFL certified English teacher, who has been teaching online for a number of years now. I graduated from university with a degree in journalism and have worked for a number of years as a sports reporter and magazine editor here in the UK. I have written a number of style guides for the football clubs and newspapers I have worked for, so I have an excellent knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling. I love to travel and can speak Spanish to B2 level and I am currently learning Italian and Turkish. Therefore, I know the pressures of learning a new language and tailor lessons that my students will find interesting as well as useful by getting to know their interests and needs.
