About Prachi

Hi! I’m Prachi, a John Monash Science School graduate currently completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, helping them strengthen their understanding and feel more confident in maths.

I enjoy making challenging concepts feel simpler and less overwhelming. I’m patient, friendly and approachable, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results, but also to develop the confidence, problem-solving skills and study habits they can use throughout their education.

About the lesson

I personalise each lesson around the student’s learning style, current ability and individual goals. My focus is on making maths easier to understand by breaking challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and then reinforcing them through worked examples and practice questions.

With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I’ve learned that students progress best when they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment while also helping students become more independent and confident problem-solvers.

Lessons are generally 60–90 minutes and can focus on strengthening fundamentals, keeping up with schoolwork, getting ahead of the curriculum, or preparing for assessments and exams. Lessons are available for primary and secondary school students and are adapted to suit each student’s pace and needs.
