JCU Medical Student provides Science, Biology and Chemistry tutoring for High school students

About the lesson

Hi, My name is Athina J. and I am a Fifth Year student studying Medicine at James Cook University. My teaching style is highly adaptable in a way that is individualized to each student as I understand that different students comprehend information in different ways.
I have multiple resources which can be used as notes so that students will be able to guide themselves through their curriculum.
Dynamic pedagogue and motivated; I would like to take care of students experiencing academic difficulties by accompanying them through tutoring workshops.
My lesson structure is mainly composed of teaching the material, doing past paper questions on the lesson taught and reviewing them prior to the next lesson. I also assist in making summary notes for the lessons.
I am detail-oriented, approachable, present excellent communication skills, comprehensive subject knowledge and am eager to contribute in a momentous way towards success.
I am mainly available for online sessions through Zoom/Skype (much recommended!) however my locations are currently only limited to the Library of JCU for face-to-face tutoring. My tutoring times are from 9 am-5 pm during weekends, but I am pretty flexible for any after-hours preparations. I am available after 3pm on Weekdays.
My hourly rate is 25$ per individual for middle school students.
