My guitar teaching approach is based on clarity, creativity, and steady skill-building. I help students develop a strong foundation while also encouraging them to explore their own musical style. With 5 years of teaching experience, I guide learners through essential skills like chord transitions, pick control, strumming patterns, and full fretboard knowledge. Lessons are structured but flexible, giving space for both technique work and personal expression. I use simple diagrams, fretboard maps, and ear-training exercises to make learning easy to understand. Each concept is taught step by step, ensuring students gain confidence without feeling rushed. I focus on clean tone, relaxed hand movement, and strong rhythm so students can play with freedom. My teaching includes practical exercises, song-based learning, riffs, solos, and rhythm training to keep progress engaging and fun. I work especially well with students who love high-energy playing or expressive blues sounds. I guide them through the skills they need to play with power, style, and emotion. No matter your goals, I help you build confidence, improve technique, and bring your musical personality forward. Together, we’ll shape your guitar journey one clear step at a time.

About the lesson

With 5 years of tutoring experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, I guide students through a learning journey that feels natural, expressive, and deeply engaging. My approach combines movement-based methods like the Alexander Technique and mindful breathing to help students play with ease and freedom. Good technique starts with a relaxed body, and I make that a core part of every lesson.

I also use visual learning tools such as diagrams and detailed fretboard maps to make patterns clear and accessible. These visuals help students understand the instrument in a way that sparks confidence and curiosity. Alongside this, I incorporate auditory playbacks to strengthen ear training and musical intuition. Hearing yourself and learning to listen deeply is key to true mastery.

I support students in managing performance anxiety through grounding exercises and simple mindfulness practices. Building confidence is just as important as building speed or strength. Each lesson nurtures both musical skill and personal growth.
