About Jazvir
Hi, I’m Jaz! I’m a fourth-year medical student at the University of Cambridge with over four years of tutoring experience. I provide: - GCSE tuition in Maths and Sciences - A level tuition in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry - Oxbridge admissions preparation (Biological Sciences/Medicine) - Medical school application support for personal statements and mock interviews Over the years, I’ve helped many students achieve top grades in their exams and secure places at leading universities. I enjoy working with students of all abilities and tailoring sessions to individual needs, whether the goal is improving confidence, reaching top marks, or preparing for competitive applications. Academically, I hold a First Class degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge, alongside 4 A* grades at A level and 12 grade 9s at GCSE. This background allows me to offer not just subject knowledge, but also strategies for effective revision, exam technique, and long-term academic success. My teaching style focuses on developing a deep understanding of concepts from first principles, rather than memorising facts. Sessions typically begin with exploring the theory and “why” behind a topic, followed by guided past paper practice to consolidate learning.
