About Abigail
You arrive at a working prototype by the end of our time together. Think of our first meeting as a deep dive into the specific logic of the problem you are currently stuck on.
I use my 9 years of experience to highlight why certain patterns in JavaScript or Python matter more than others. This methodology is designed for adults and kids who prefer hands-on work over dry theory. We will examine your code structure to identify why a function might be failing or how a data structure could be optimized.
My BS Statistics degree provides a unique perspective on how to write clean code that scales. I focus on keeping the process clear and logical throughout our work.

Earning a BS Statistics degree from UC Berkeley gave me the technical rigor required to debug even the most stubborn code. I remember my first time deploying a script that actually automated a real world business process in a SaaS environment. Those 9 years of experience have taken me from consulting rooms to high growth tech teams.
I now teach JavaScript, Python, C++, and data structures to working professionals and kids alike. My approach covers HTML, CSS, and object oriented programming through the lens of a career analyst. I find that problem solving on coding platforms is the most effective way to test your skills under pressure.
It is fun to watch a student bridge the gap between abstract syntax and functional logic. I keep things grounded in what actually works on the job.
